Terms of Service
Effective October 28, 2026
- The scanner only reads your Azure data. You decide whether to make any change it suggests.
- Savings figures are estimates, not guarantees.
- Paid plans renew automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime online; you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
- We don't refund partial months, but we fix billing mistakes. See the refund policy.
- Your data is yours. We use it only to run the service. See the privacy policy.
1. Who we are and this agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and iOddy LLC ("iOddy LLC", "we", "us"), 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, for Cloud Cost Scanner (the "Service"), including the website, the web application, reports and emails. Our affiliate Increscent Software Private Limited (India) develops and operates the Service for us and provides support.
By signing in, starting a scan or buying a plan, you accept these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so; "you" then means that organization. The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
2. The Service
The Service finds avoidable spending in Microsoft Azure. When you sign in with Microsoft, you grant it one delegated permission (Azure Service Management, user_impersonation), so it acts with your own Azure permissions. It sends only read requests: cost data, resource configuration and Azure Advisor recommendations. It does not create, change or delete anything in your Azure environment. Suggested fixes, including commands, are for you to review and run yourself.
We may improve, change or stop features from time to time. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance and you may cancel.
3. Your account and Azure access
- You sign in with a Microsoft work, school or personal account. Keep it secure; you're responsible for activity under it.
- You may only scan Azure tenants and subscriptions you are authorized to access and analyze, and you're responsible for complying with your own agreements with Microsoft and your organization's policies.
- The information you give us, such as your company and contact details, must be accurate.
- You can revoke the Service's access at any time in your Microsoft account or Entra ID, and delete your data in the app (see section 9).
4. Free plan
The free plan scans one subscription at a time and shows your total avoidable spend with full details for your biggest savings. It's provided free of charge and may change or end at any time.
5. Paid plans, billing and automatic renewal
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically. When you subscribe, you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method the plan price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax, when you subscribe and again on the same day each month until you cancel. Each charge covers the month that follows; we bill in advance.
- Pricing by Azure spend. Each paid plan covers a range of monthly Azure spend, as shown on our pricing page. You should choose the plan that matches the total monthly spend of the subscriptions you scan. If your scanned spend is consistently above your plan's range, we may move you to the right plan from a future renewal; we'll email you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Currency. Prices are charged in US dollars. Amounts shown in other currencies are estimates; your bank may charge conversion or foreign transaction fees.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes. You're responsible for sales, use, value added, goods and services and similar taxes, which we may collect where required.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change applies to you, and it takes effect at your next renewal after that notice. If you don't agree, cancel before then.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, Stripe will retry it for a short period and we'll email you. If payment still fails, your subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan.
- Promotions. Discounts and promotion codes apply only as stated when offered and can't be combined unless we say so.
- Enterprise. Enterprise plans are agreed in a separate order form or proposal, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime, online, in the app on the Billing page (Turn off auto-renewal), or by emailing info@increscentsoftware.com from your account email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month: you keep paid features until then and you won't be charged again. Payments are non-refundable and we don't give refunds or credits for partial months, except as set out in our refund and cancellation policy or where the law requires. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scan or access any Azure environment or data you aren't authorized to;
- copy, resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others as a service, except sharing reports as the Service allows;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the Service's source code, except where the law allows despite this limit;
- probe, scan or test the Service's security, overload it, or interfere with its operation;
- use automated means to access the Service other than as we provide, or use it to build a competing product;
- use the Service in breach of any law, or of export control or sanctions rules (section 16).
8. Your data
"Customer Data" means the information you provide and the data the Service reads from your Azure environment, and the reports produced from it. You own your Customer Data. You give us permission to host, process and display it only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in our privacy policy. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics that don't identify you or your organization to improve the Service.
We keep Customer Data confidential and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures. If you need a data processing agreement (for example under the GDPR), email us and we'll provide one.
Reports are private unless you turn on a share link. Anyone with an active link can view that report's summary; you're responsible for who you share it with, and you can turn the link off at any time.
9. Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all your scans at any time from the Reports page. This removes them from our live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days. We keep billing records as required for tax and accounting.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, rules and content belong to iOddy LLC and its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription. You may use and share the reports the Service produces for your organization within your business. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on Microsoft (sign-in and Azure data) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those is governed by their terms, and we aren't responsible for them. Microsoft and Azure are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Cloud Cost Scanneris not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft.
12. Estimates, not guarantees
Savings figures are estimates based on your Azure data, Azure's public prices and Microsoft's own recommendations at the time of the scan. Actual savings depend on your usage, pricing agreements, discounts, exchange rates and the changes you make, and may be lower. The Service isn't financial, tax, legal or professional advice. Before you change or delete any resource, you're responsible for confirming it isn't needed, keeping backups and testing the change. We aren't responsible for the results of changes you or others make.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, iOddy LLC and its affiliates disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its findings will be complete or accurate.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if advised of their possibility. iOddy LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, your breach of section 7, or liability that can't be limited by law. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify iOddy LLC and its affiliates against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable lawyers' fees) arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, including scanning any environment you weren't authorized to access.
16. Export controls and sanctions
You confirm that you aren't located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions, and aren't on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You won't use or export the Service in breach of US or other applicable export control or sanctions laws.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms (including non-payment), if required by law, or to protect the Service or others. Where reasonable we'll give notice first. If we end your paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current month. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 8, 10, 12 to 15, 18 and 20) survive.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other for at least 30 days. Any claim that isn't resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept them; if you don't agree, cancel and stop using the Service.
20. General
- These Terms, the privacy policy, the refund policy and any order form are the entire agreement about the Service.
- You agree to receive notices and agreements electronically, by email to your account address or in the Service.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or a successor to our business.
- Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
- The parties are independent contractors.
